ABOUT

I am a half-Turkish, half-Canadian storyteller and a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Cognitive Systems program (BSc)—a multidisciplinary degree combining Computer Science, Psychology, Philosophy, and Linguistics.

Having written and directed six short films since the age of 16, I use my work to explore concepts from neuroscience and philosophy, primarily utilizing sci-fi as my tool. In addition to receiving multiple film festival nominations, I was selected for the Vancouver International Film Festival’s Catalyst Program in October 2025. Currently, I am developing my first feature film, The Sins of Our Father, with my team.

Beyond my narrative work, I founded a local filmmaking platform called IndieVision Studios. Now with over 215 members, we have produced 12 student productions. You can find more information about our community on Instagram @indievisionstudios.
